About the Rally
Join us for a warm, festive and relaxed winter weekend at Laches Wood Education Centre. This cosy Christmas rally is the perfect chance to celebrate with fellow South Staffs ralliers before the year draws to a close.
With a spacious indoor hall, plenty of room for socialising, and lots of fun planned across the weekend, this rally is ideal for regular ralliers and first-timers alike. Expect good company, Christmas cheer, plenty of laughs, and a very relaxed pace to suit all.

Weekend Itinery
🎄 Friday Evening – Christmas Jumper Night
Kick off the weekend with a cheerful and relaxed Opening Flag, followed by our traditional Christmas Jumper Social.
Wear your brightest, boldest or most outrageous festive jumper, the more sparkly, silly or creative, the better! Bring along your own drinks and snacks, settle into the hall and enjoy an evening of chat, music and laughter as we get into the Christmas spirit.
🎁 Saturday Daytime – Christmas Crafts & Social
On Saturday during the day, the hall will be open for relaxed festive fun, giving you time to:
- Catch up with fellow ralliers
- Join in informal Christmas crafts
- Play board games or card games
- Sit with a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere
- Take a walk or cycle around the quiet lanes of Slade Heath
There’s no set agenda — just a warm, friendly space to enjoy at your own pace.

Our main event! Join us in the hall for an evening of festive celebrations, including:
🎄 Christmas Buffet
Turkey baps and sides, sweet treats and nibbles.
🎅 Games & Entertainment
Light-hearted festive games and entertainment — fun for adults and children alike.
🪩 Music & Socialising
- A relaxed evening with plenty of merriment. Your favourite Christmas music and dancing.
- Secret Santa – Suggested value: £5 – one per van please.
Local Area & Things to Do
Most of the weekend is indoors and festive, but if you fancy a little time outside:
- Enjoy a winter walk around nearby lanes and countryside
- Visit Wolverhampton for Christmas shopping and cafés
- Wander the paths of West Park or East Park
- Explore nearby garden centres, often beautifully decorated at this time of year
