Fellow SSCC Members, Past Chairmen, and Honorary Members,

Thank you all for joining us at this year’s Annual General Meeting at Little Stoke Cricket Club. I am truly honoured and privileged to serve as your Chairman for the 2025/26 season.

Before looking ahead, I’d like to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to all the officers and committee members from the 2024/25 season. Your commitment, time, and hard work over the past year have kept the Centre running smoothly and helped create so many enjoyable rallies and memories. We really appreciate everything you’ve done.

I’m delighted to say that we’re heading into the new season with a full committee and every officer role filled – a fantastic position to be in. My heartfelt thanks go to our Treasurer, Clare Danks, for her dedication over the past twelve months in bringing clarity and confidence to our finances. A big thank you also to our new Rally Secretary, Scott Crumpton, who has stepped up to take on the rally programme and is already hard at work bringing the 2026 rally schedule to life. There’s a great mix of rallies planned, with something to suit everyone.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the support of our landowners, who kindly allow us to use their sites, and our rally marshals, who give up their free time so we can all enjoy this wonderful hobby. Your efforts are deeply appreciated.

Looking ahead, I’d like to thank the Committee in advance for the work that lies ahead this season. I’m confident that, together, we can continue to make the South Staffs Centre a vibrant, welcoming, and active community. To all our members—new and long-standing—I encourage you to get involved, support your marshals by booking rallies, and, if plans change, please remember to let them know.

Our committee looks forward to meeting you out on the rally field—please do come over for a cuppa and a chat. Let’s make this another great year filled with friendship, laughter, and safe adventures.
